Patch is a free summer programme for young people who want to build something great, whether that be a science, engineering or creative project or a business. We provide mentorship, accommodation, meals and, in some cases, a stipend to ensure our summer programme is accessible to all. The summer programme is the main entry point to the Patch community, an exclusive group of supportive and driven young people across the country.
There are no right or wrong answers to any of our application questions. We value a diversity of opinions and experiences, and genuinely want to learn more about you. Feel free to share anything you're interested in or proud of, even if it's completely unrelated to what you want to work on at Patch. Everyone wants to appear modest, but keep in mind that we're not going to find out about your unique interests and achievements unless you share them with us. Don't worry about "oversharing" or "showing off" - applications are one place where that's totally acceptable.
We encourage you to submit your application whenever you’re ready. We expect to begin reviewing applications and responding to candidates in early 2026.
